HUMAN VAGINAL EPITHELIUM

In addition to its in vitro testing services, StratiCELL supports its customers in their research projects by providing them with 3D in vitro reconstructed Human Vaginal Epithelium that replicates the 3D structure and function of natural human vaginal tissue.

The 3D reconstructed Human Vaginal Epithelium (HVE) from StratiCELL is produced from human vaginal epithelial cells, on a permeable 0.63 cm2 polycarbonate cell culture insert at the air-liquid interface. Because StratiCELL’s HVE replicates the 3D structure and function of natural vaginal epithelium, it is ideally suited for research on the women’s health and early phase developement of feminine care products.

  • Shipment in multiwell plates, embedded in an agarose mix containing medium and packed according to the UN3373.   
  • Shipments at day 10 from air-liquid interface.
  • Shelf-life at room temperature : 48 hours.
  • Tissue quality control (histological analysis) provided upon delivery.
